1. Who is Tlehs Publishing™?
2. How do I get your rate sheets?
Tlehs Publishing™ is a family owned business located in Duluth, GA, just northeast of Atlanta. The company has been in business for over 13 years producing resident directories, newsletters and websites for subdivisions and other organizations in the area. The parent company, M&M Creative, Inc., has over 20 years of experience in the print advertising industry, having worked with hundreds of advertisers during that time. Our sales and production staff are experienced in all aspects of advertising. We are dedicated to assisting you in achieving your marketing goals, both economically and effectively.
1. How long will my ad run in a directory?
Your ad will run for at least 10 months to well over a year. Most directories are annual. The earliest we would put out an update would be 10 months on an annual directory. This timeframe allows ample time for sponsors to receive response, yet allows subdivisions to adjust delivery to better fit their needs. We have also found that when a resident gets a new directory, they do not throw away the old directory. They will keep it as an extra and continue to use it, especially if they have written in notes about neighbors, sponsors, etc. In that case the life of your ad can extend much longer than originally intended
3. Will my copy contain the resident information?
Your directory or newsletter copy is identical to the delivered copy, except it does not contain any resident information because of our confidentiality agreements with the subdivisions. If your intent is to solicit residents by phone, mail or email from our publications, that is not possible with our program.

5. Can I advertise in a single subdivision?
Yes. The base price is shown in our Media Kit. There is an art charge if your order is under $500. To avoid the art charge you can provide a high quality print ready pdf of your ad built to the proper dimensions. The art charge will be waived as soon as we verify your pdf meets our specifications. For newsletters, there is an additional minimum of 3 issues. Ask your representative for the details.

6. What kind of response can I expect?
Although there is no guarantee that you will get response, we can think of no other advertising medium that gives more opportunities for your message to be seen. Our surveys indicate that 85% of residents use our publications, 60% use them daily or weekly and 68% say they use the sponsors. Also, because of the targeted nature of our publications, you're advertising dollars are not wasted going to areas that do not match your geographic and demographic requirements.
To improve results, it is very important that you maximize your investment by repeating your ad in a subdivision more than one time. That is why we impose a 3 issue minimum for newsletters. Study after study shows that you cannot expect response by running your ad only one time in a newsletter. Honestly, we do not want to waste your money. Allow our representatives to work with you to come up with the most effective campaign for your budget.

7. Do all residents get a directory or newsletter?
We print the number of directories and newsletters based on the number given to us by the subdivision. That is the number of homes shown on the rate sheet. In addition for directories we supply an extra 10-15% overage for new residents. It is our goal for all residents to get a copy of the directory, even residents that don't want their name listed, or didn't get their resident information in on time. Newsletters are mailed or distributed to every address that is given to us. We cannot however, guarantee delivery to every resident, but that certainly is our intent.

11. What is the delivery date for directories and newsletters? Our goal is to deliver our publications on schedule 100% of the time. However, a publication may slip due to editorial submittal and proofing delays. Newsletters deliver on their contracted delivery date and directories in their contracted delivery month. The rate sheet shows the approximate deliveries for newsletters, i.e. left justified issue numbers mean delivery is in the first 10 days of the month, etc. The rate sheets show deliveries by quarter for directories.

12. How are directories and newsletters delivered?
We mail most of our newsletters and many of our directories directly to the resident. In some cases the subdivision does the actual delivery, typically by street captains or other community volunteers. Our contract with each subdivision states that delivery to residents must take place within 10 days. We don’t have problems with delivery because subdivisions look forward to delivering the current newsletter issue or the new directory to their residents as quickly as possible.

13. How do new residents get a directory or newsletter when they move in?
Typically new residents get a directory from a board member or the Welcoming Committee after they move in. We supply extra copies to each subdivision for this purpose. Our ad rates to you do not include these extra copies, because we cannot guarantee their delivery. Since we mail most of our newsletters, the new resident automatically receives the newsletter if they purchased an existing home. If it's a new home, we mail to the address as soon as we are notified of the addition by the subdivision. As new addresses are added we regularly update our rate sheets with the new quantities.

14. How can I get more response?
Often, it's just a matter of redesigning your ad. A busy or cluttered ad will often be missed by the reader. Supply just enough information to get the reader to respond. Don't try to tell them everything about your business. Also, increasing the size of your ad or using color can change response dramatically. Ask your representative for help in this regards. Consumers need to see your ad multiple times before they think about responding. What better way is there to stay in front of your customers than by being in their community newsletter, directory or website. Work with your representative to plan out a long term strategy for your Tlehs advertising program.
